Wrinkles and fine lines are primarily caused by reduced collagen and elastin production. Vitamin K present in avocado helps protect the collagen in the skin. When healthy collagen production is maintained, your skin appears more plump, smooth and youthful.
It also contains Vitamin C and Vitamin E which protects the skin against UV damage, with Vitamin C fighting UVA damage and Vitamin E fighting the DNA-altering UVB rays.
The green fruit is packed with skin friendly vitamins and minerals which helps nourish, hydrate and preserve moisture in skin cells and restore a more youthful glow to the face.
Try this DIY Avocado anti-aging face mask and keep those fine lines and wrinkles in check.
